Traditional Nahua Healing
Since the beginning of humanity people have sought healing and guidance in their lives.
My healing path is part of the ancient shamanic spiritual tradition of the Nahua people of Mexico’s central highlands that works in an active relationship with the forces of divine nature.
Through years of apprenticeship with an Elder in this millennia aged path and making pilgrimages with recognized sacred sites I was initiated as a traditional healer, called Tepahtiani in the Nahuatl language.

This healing approach is an extension of my path as a Granicera, or Nahua weather worker, which I have been since 1999.

This involves being called by the living forces of weather that we refer to as clouds, rain, wind, the sun, the sky, and lightning and confirmed through an elder of this tradition.
Weather workers support the bringing of rain and the converting of storms to beneficial weather in our local areas and work to restore balance and reciprocity with these living natural forces.
I am indebted to our traditional Nahua elder, Don Lucio Campos Elizalde (1906-2005) of Nepopualco, Morelos, who initiated me on this path and to Don David Wiley, to whom Don Lucio passed his altar before his death and who has carried on Don Lucio’s teachings.

It is because of their devotion and leadership that this extraordinary healing system has been made available to me.
